We have most manuals in stock for Mercury, Mariner, MerCruiser, SportJet and...(add in all those other Mercury brands) and can ship them out immediately. Prices average $22.50 for owners manuals, $18.50 for parts lists, and $71.50 for service and repair manuals. A few manuals are less expensive, and a few are more. We also have rare out-of-print materials as well. These we can make copies of for you.

Whether your marine engine was built by Mercury, Yamaha, or one of the other manufacturers producing marine engines, the service manual you choose MUST be specific to your engine. When you don't use an OEM (Original Engine Manufacturer) service manual specific to your engine, you take the chance on ruining your engine, and, at the cost of replacement, that extra money you spend on the accurate manual can mean a savings of thousands of dollars. It can mean the difference between an engine that is fixed correctly, according to OEM specifications or one that's irreparably damaged.

Some of the kinds of problems that crop up when not using an OEM manual can destroy your engine on your first attempt to start it. Timing issues, incorrect carburator adjustments, screws not set properly -- all of this and more can send your engine to the graveyard. Don't cost yourself money by skimping on your repair manual. Thirty dollars saved can mean thousands of dollars in damage.

Why anything except a Mercury or Yamaha manual won't work:

In order for Seloc and other manual makers to publish their volumes, they must take the copyrighted information provided in the OEM manual and change it enough that Mercury and Yamaha cannot sue them for breach of copyright. Some of the information provided in the OEM manual is so very specific that there is no way it can legally be provided by other manual publishers. So they print with general instructions, leave crucial information out completely, or fudge the numbers and instructions, all this to avoid lawsuit.
