Getting the RIGHT part for your specific engine requires specific information. Sometimes, even with the serial number and model number and year, there are extremely critical differences between your engine and one listed under that serial number range that your engine falls within. Mercury and Yamaha don't list engines BY their exact serial number, but, instead, provide ranges of serial numbers (Mercury) and years and models (Yamaha). Then, when looking up the schematic, we have to ascertain differences between three or even five different varieties of parts they may have used in that engine. So, really, it is better to take the time to fill out the form or to call us and let us assume the burden of making sure that you are getting the right part for your engine.
